The 'Castello di Pavone' is 500 mts. far from the Ivrea exit on the motorway and easily reachable and visible from there. It is considered as one of the most beautiful monuments of the artistic heritage of our Country. The photographic images cannot portray its natural beauty and its fairy-tale and spectacular effects. This marvellous castle offers a great emotion to its visitors with its fascinating and poetical aspect. Its strong and fabulous exterior walls have been built between the IX and the XIV century; in the inner courtyard stands a beautiful Romanesque little Church, built in the 850 ,with its two Roman tombs which dates back to the 4th and 5th century b.C., built for the two ancestors. The castle boasts a suggestive interior courtyard paved with carved stones and a beautiful mistery well.
