Borgo la Bagnaia was once a tiny medieval village which has now been converted in to a luxury hotel. The atmosphere of the country estate can still very much be felt. Religious services including intimate marriage ceremonies are held in the estate chapel to this very day. There are a host of secret rooms to “discover” including the marvelous “reading room” and the 12th century “Filetta” complex.
The furnishings in all the rooms and public areas are quite stunning – featuring antique Tuscan and ethnic pieces from the owners private collection – there are no standard hotel room fittings - from the beds to the lamps, each article is truly unique. Textiles and drapes have all been personally designed by the owner.
