Figline Valdarno a medieval village of the 12th century is located in the middle of the triangle made up of Siena, Arezzo and Florence.
This position allows visitors to reach easily these beautiful cities of art in a short time or, if they prefer to venture out into the splendid. luxuriant Tuscan country side to discover its hidden wonders.
Nowadays as in the past, when Figline had 19 towers and 4 gates, which enclosed the Old “Mercatale”, crossing the main square of the village and walking down “Via Castelguinelli”, you would find Villa Casamaggiore of the Serristori Family, well-known as Casagrande.
This building, half palace and half villa, was constructed in 1392 by Ser Ristoro notary of the Signoria of Florence.
